EUROPRACTICE

EUROPRACTICE is the result of a European training initiative launched in 1989 under the name EUROCHIP, with a view to promoting the training of microelectronics in Europe. Since 1995, the institution has been operating under the name EUROPRACTICE (PRomoting Access to Components, Subsystems and Microsystems Technologies for Industrial Competitiveness in EUROPE).

The aim of EUROPRACTICE is to help companies increase their competitiveness on the global market through ASICs, multi-chip modules (MCM) or microsystem solutions. The EUROPRACTICE IC service provides European industry and academic institutions with a secure way to ASIC development and manufacturing.

In particular, the MPC Group's projects on the basis of EUROPRACTICE enable the following:

  • Access to industrial design kits and software design tools of e.g. Cadence, Mentor Graphics, Synopsis, etc.
  • Fast low-cost prototyping and small series production of ASICs
  • Wide choice of technologies
